When planing our trip to Legend 2004 Jutta, which I only met once before in person, and I had the idea to add some days and visit some places in the South.
Finally we decided to see the locations where Robin of Sherwood was filmed once.

Tuesday, August 24th
While waiting for Jutta, who was a little late, I went to see the teletext for the road conditions. There are the airport information to be found as well and I read them, too.
But what did I see: our flight was cancelled! First shock before we even left.
When Jutta came to pick me up we decided to go to the airport anyway. Somehow we would get to England.
British Airways changed our bookings for Air France via Paris where we had to change planes.
The flight to Paris CDG was a little rough and I was glad it was soon over.
We had some time until our conection flight to London left and while wandering around I remembered news I heard some weeks ago. Wasn't it here where a whole terminal collapsed?
But we also survived this and eventually arrived London in a good condition.

Jutta, who had never been to England before, decided to rent a car. I wasn't that confident because I didn't even manage to cross the street properly after three days in Bristol last year. So I left it to Jutta to drive. And I have to say she did a good job.

For the three days before Legend we booked rooms in a hotel in Weston-super-mare. It is in a not too far distance to several locations and at the Bristol channel.

The Queenswood Hotel is a very nice small hotel.
My room was really nice. All over coloured from dark winered to pink and lots of flowers on curtains and wallpapers. And the view was great also. Sometimes I could even see the Welsh coast.
