Glastonbury Tor

Still Wednesday, August 25th.

As Glastonbury is in the middle of 'RoS - country' we thought it could be interesting to visit it also.

We left the car at the cathedral car park and wandred through the city towards the Tor.
The whole city is set up very 'mystical', lots of 'Avalon' shops with crystals, stones, swords, joss sticks,....but everything very expensive. All people there looked very interesting ;o) Hippies, gurus, punks, ....

While walking we saw a very nice sign pointing the way to the tor:
The walk to the Tor was very much like the one to Brent Knoll. Through a beautiful landscape with huge trees. But of course it was much more crowded.
Against all expectations it was not the least bit mystical. No myst, no priests, not even a bell ringing. ;o)
When we reached the top it was even more windy as it was on Brent Knoll.
But again we had a great view. To Brent Knoll....
