White Horse - Uffington
not a filming location for RoS, but as this is just next to Wayland's Smithy we paid it a visit.
From Reading to Uffington it's just a short drive. As we did not made plans I thought this would be a good start. Especially as I know the area by now. So no danger to get lost on the very first day. ;o)
The 'White horse' is situated just under the 'Castle Hill' on the Ridgeway. It is looked after by English Heritage.
Unfortunately it can be only seen completly from the air. So all you get from me is parts of it.
A crop circle!
But it was further away than it looked so we gave up on our way there.... and tried to get to Wayland's Smithy instead, before it's starting to rain.
